This is a cute item. It is made in the old style of hollow glass ornaments, the kind which were so pretty but very fragile. This glass seems thicker than those old kind so it might hold up better and last longer. The design is quite pretty: two crossed candy canes with an Alice blue bow tied around the middle where they cross. The canes are mostly red with thin white stripes and gold accents. It does not weigh one pound as stated in the Amazon description – it weighs less than 2 ounces. Nice ornament.
